I saw a lot strayed cats in Singapore, and i guess there are also al ot of strayed animals in other countries as well? And everyday there are so many people buying nre pets from pet shop, why not go and adopt one? U can save money and also give more animals homes. Every animal needs love and home right?

i have no problem doing either one,whether i am buying a pet from the petshop or adopting a stray from a local shelter,all that matters is i can give that pet a loving and comfortable home with lots of love,care and nurturing! i have had several dogs,cats,small mammals,birds and goldfish so i am happy to give any animal a good home cause being without a home sucks cause i should know,a few years ago,our house had burned down,but unlike animals,humans can just find another one,animals don't have the luxury of just moving into a new dwelling when they are abandoned by cruel senseless people who don't deserve any sympathy from the law cause they abuse animals by leaving them to fend for themselves! :( :( :(

I'd rather have a virtual pet. I have a virtual pet on my Nintendo, called Nintendogs. (In August I will buy NintenCats) That way I don't have to clean up after it. Tee-Hee
BUT if I had a choice to buy or adopt I'd adopt because there are pets that need homes in the shelters all the time.

It depends on what you're looking for in a pet. If you want a particular breed then buy from a reputable breeder. If you merely want a pet for yourself and/or family, by all means adopt. I do both. We have one purebred dog and one mutt...both are loved.

adopt one. i usually take care of puppies or kittens tht r born off strays n take care of them till their strong and then i hand them over to the local Bluecross people....though i wanted to i nevr cud keep one myself coz i'm busy wid my wrk n i'm planning on moving to another country.
