Be smart in how you use your money. Always invest in things instead of saving in low interest accounts or spending it on frivolous things. The idea is to get your money to earn money instead of using it to buy things. With the money that is generated from the investments, you can use that for yourself. You just have to have a decent amount to saved up to start off and you have to be very smart with investments.
If you haven't already graduated from college, I would look into going into business school and working very hard at it. No large amount money is easy to come by, but with hard work and brains, you can do it.

Good Question! What I have learnt is in 3 steps:
1. Be clear of who you really are...
What do you really want to be? your dream life? When you are clear and have visionary impression of them, then it is possible to work your way there. This set the stage of where you shall arrive at the final destination: be it money, wellness, strong relationship with others, or simply happy.
2. Constantly asking your self "How can i move forward in this plan?"
Planning your advancement, getting to know more people that can help you in your course. This would help you to do the right things, get the right advise from the right people, the right helps you need, and correct what you need in the earliest possible time. And most importantly, being objective all the time.
3. By being the kindest person you can be, and bettering that by 1% each day.
This is the hardest because you will have to take on others problems and troubles, on top of just giving at your ease.
You will become an influencential person that people depend on, as you help them to move forward in their lifes. At the same time, they will help you, support you, watch out for you in your path towards success.
Don't worry there are just as many good folks out there that will be positive, as there are in the bad guys.
Money is just the tools used in the measurement and exchange of values given and brought by humans. Its not money that make you rich, its the values that you give and possesses that make your wealth.
That's how Donald Trump make it in life many times, even when he was owing the banks 900 millions. Its the values (potential profit and if he is bankrupt the banks get into troubles) that he can give the banks that make them took the high risks with him.
Getting rich is a process!! Live the process.

To become richest in the world, you would probably have to start some company that would become extremely profitable over the years. Maybe some solution to the global energy problem, such as investing cheap nuclear fusion. Or maybe some new technology that we can't think of right now. As the company grows and makes more money, your stake in the company would increase.
