I work for Child Protective Services in Arizona and we do investigations into abuse of children (I'm on the legal side). Anyways, we've had kids with skull fractures and though they appear to heal quickly and it takes a lot ot injure a child, I've found there are lasting effects of injury that young. I'd say it's pretty serious from my experience, and I'd recommend getting the child to a doc asap to assess the damage!

At that age the bones heal fast....so its not of that problem....BUT if the child has even a minnor nerve injury it will affect him thruout his life....cause baby brain is not fully developed...its from the nerve cells present new cells have to develop...

Don't try to find out.

If it's too late, listen to what the doctor tells you (yes, take the child to a doctor).

Given proper care, babies are remarkably resilient.
