its a long way to the top .............if you wanna rock and roll .........( ac/dc )

you need to get out there and start playin .......anywhere and everywhere . get the buzz goin ' ......see if there is any interest .

build an organization , people to organize and run a street team , posting flyers , and talking up the shows with others. you will need people to assist with bookings , and management decisions , you will need equipment , a decent rehearsal space , roadies , production people , and many more depending on how big you choose to build your organization .

start out locally , and expand into nearby markets to break out in a regional way .............by that point you will meet many people who will hopefully help carry you to the next level .

this industry can be both brutal and kind . try to build your organization with people you can count on and trust .

be persistent , and stay true to your art !

cheers !

Myspace might work since it was made for musicians. You can also try looking for music talents searches on the internet. Or do it the old fashioned way and sell your music out of a trunk.

Start playing gigs regularly around your city, and even other towns if you can afford it. You need to first record a demo to send to record labels and ideally get signed to an indie label first. Anyone who thinks they're going to get signed to a major label right away is a fool so look at indie labels first. They'll help you get connections too and help you fine tune your sound.

Well, you need to be good. I’m sure you are, but just in case you’re not, you probably should to be. It’s not hard to get people to listen to you, but if they don’t like what they hear then it doesn’t matter.
