Well I am an Intel freak.
What I have on my system is a Intel Pentium Duo 940. and a Radeon x1300 pro graphics card. I do video editing and play high end games. My system works fine. All I need to get is a decent cooler for my CPU.

get a radeon graphics card (a 256 or 512) 256 is about 100 bucks and up...not too bad...get the 100 bucks one...make sure you have enough ram..im suggesting about 512 and up...a good processer is always needed as to run programs well and efficient...im talking about about 1.5gigahertz or more for bigger and more powerful programs, and if you want a pretty good sound card will do..i got mine for 20 bucks and i give it a 10 out of 10. but it all depends on the graphics card you get.

well un i would go with the amd athlon64x2 dual-core u can make movies and deaign grpahics at the smae tim ewithoutneeding to wait also amd is known for there raw power that is delivered. u can get a 2.5 ghz dualcore which brings ur total system power to 5 ghz when both cores are focused on one thing so if u wanted to recode a movie to dvd formaat u can do it in less than 20 mins it takes me 2 hours on a 1.5 ghz athlon
