My boyfriend and I had sex for the first time 7 days ago. We didn't use protection and I wasn't on the pill anymore. We've been having sex nearly every day since then. I know it's only been a week, but I've been feeling sick every day, my breasts got larger, my head hurts, I can smell everything, I missed my period...so what I'm wondering is, is it too early to take a pregnancy test? Is it even possible to be pregnant already? Someone please answer in any way you can.

You could be pregnant, of course. Take a blood test, that shows results 24 hours after conception. Or you might have hormonal problems because of stopping the pill. Has it been long? Ask your doctor how long you have to be off it before trying getting pregnant.

you can take a test already if you have already missed a period i got pregnant after only missing 3 pills(not in a row) so if i were you i would either go to a clinic tomorrow to get a pregnancy test or you can do it at home but you can already tell if you are cuz you missed a period so a test should be accurate

The first sign would be your missed period. Usually your breasts wont grow until further in the pregnancy but they will become somewhat sore. I would wait another week and if you still don't have your period, take a test. Until then... use protection unless you want a baby.

Yes it is possible. Test two weeks after you would have expected your period to come, that is about the earliest you can hope for a clear result, and if you wait longer there are better chances of an accurate reading.

You could be pregnant, but it is way to be feeling any symptoms. People don't feel pregnant until they get to about 9 weeks. If you are one week pregnant, you wouldn't know. Give it a week or two, if your period still doesn't show up take a test.

Put your mind to rest by simply taking a test. They are cheap and most are accurate 3 days after so 7 should confirm a yes or no...

Anytime you have unprotected sex before menopause, its possible to get pregnant. It's also possible to get a number of stds. You should go to a clinic, planned parenthood, and get tested, not only for pregnancy but also for stds. Next time use protection.

there are chances u are pregnant if u had sex during ur ovulation time. ie 8 to 21 days of ur menstrual cycle. only if u miss ur next period u need to be alarmed. wait one week after your missed period, most home pregnancy tests will give you an accurate answer after this period. now its too erarly to know if ur pregnant or not.

You're obviously very worried about this, so wouldn't a pregnancy test put your mind at ease? Besides, that's one of the responsibilities of making such an adult decision. Make another adult decision and take care of yourself!
