My parents named me Thaïs.
It's an ancient name, the most famous of which was an Athenian courtesan who sometimes hung out with Alexander the Great.
That's pretty weird, but I think Cthulu is weirder.

There was once a boy at my daughter's preschool named "Zero". How Awful!
My sister has a friend who's niece's name was Xaja, but pronounced it "ahh-jah". If the "X" is silent then why did they bother putting it in there? I guess it was so that they could look creative. It didn't work. It just looks contrived. Poor kid!
