Beautiful movie. I thought it was an absolute cinnematic masterpiece. 5 out of 5 stars.
I had never heard of the comic previous to seeing the movie, so I had nothing to base it off of, but the message is one that I thought was strong, beautiful and downplayed in hollywood today. The film was controversial and breathtaking at the same time. It gave us a look into a possible dystopian future of our own. Extremely thought provoking. You leave the movie awestruck and humbled because of the abosolute heart it has. It's complex yet easy to relate with. Excellent acting from everyone.
This is by far one of my new favorite movies. It took you on a rollercoaster of emotions with the main characters and you feel like you've grown as much as they have.

"V for Vendetta" was okay, but since it was by the makers of the Matrix movies, it was well below acceptable movie fare. Part of the problem being that it had such a downer somber ending. That kills a movie franchise right there. It dragged in spots. I felt the mask was really dorky looking. Though, I liked when he depantsed the mugger, early on in the movie. The lesbian subplot did intrigue me, and felt genuine terror and sadness for the characters. I give "V for Vendetta" a 3, and I'm being very kind.

Yes, I've seen the movie. I enjoyed it very much. I would rate it at 4 out of 5 stars. It's a very though provoking movie.

3 out of 10. I kept waiting for the movie to get better and it never did. It came across as too political for my taste.

I enjoyed it very much, although it covered a lot of the same ground as 1984 without the same intensity.
