That's the interesting part you don't have to have any course. Yes some schools will teach you the whole process and for that matter I would recommend it but if you can show you can do the stuff already many will hire you. You just need a smok'n portfolio so put the "Water pipe" down and keep the Xbox360 handy (only for reference) and start building man. I have known many people who work in the field and didn't go to school just had love of making games. Most companies want people who have great new ideas and designs and yes going to a school to learn the whole process wouldn't hurt either. Hope that helped.

Get a BA in graphic design multimedia for the animation side or BSc in Programming for the building of the game.
