He wasn't the fastest scouted runningback. He ran a 4.33 which is great for a running back, but its not the best.

He runs a 4.32 40 time, but he's not the fastest in the NFL. At USC he played in a conference (PAC 10) that lacked overall speed and he was able to run wild. The NFL has unbelievable speed and he'll find out soon enough how much more harder he has to work to succeed at the next level when training camp kicks off.
I also remember when ESPN did a story on Reggie Bush when he worked out with Ladanian Tomlinson. Reggie said that before working with him he thought he was in great shape... he was wrong. He went through some of Ladanain's off season workouts with him, and he admitted he was so unprepared that he had to take a break and go throw up after all the running and exercising they did !!!
It's a whole new ball game now, and it will be interesting to see how quickly or how slow Reggie picks up on things in the league.

He's fast, but being fast won't help you much on the football field. It'll give you certain advantages, but if you dont have good vision, footwork, strength, hip movement, and playmaking abilities, then you can be the fastest player in the world but it wont mean anything (see RB Michael Bennet, or RB Trung Candidate). Speed is just an added bonus to being talented in the football world...By the way, I'm assuming your Persian, good to see more Persians around online and getting into the game of Football and Basketball and etc. I'm also Persian by the way (if you can't tell by my email address).
GO 49ERS...

Bush (5-11, 202) ran his 40 in 4.33. Had a 10-foot-9 lengthy bounce and 40½-inch vertical bounce. did not do any of the shuttles or the three-cone drill, yet he changed into worked out by using Jim Skipper, the operating backs coach of Carolina, and Eric Bieniemy, the operating backs coach of Minnesota. He regarded very, acceptable in position drills, along with time in spent at huge reciever in passing drills he's rather quick

Ask the corner store owners in East L.A. how fast he is, Reggie didn't have a lot of money growing up so he had to steal and run. I am kidding of course Reggie is very fast, just watch a few of his games this year.

You're gonna have to wait til reggie stops crying about the contract that he doesn't deserve - with that rebuilt knee...to ask him.
He'll be a flash in the pan...you might see a decent year...then he'll fall by the way side claiming he reinjured himself.
i think the max contract for any sport should be 1 million per year.

The Bengals will be nothing without Carson Palmer. Even if he comes back, his knee was BAD and it will never be the same! You can thank the Pittsburgh Steelers and Chemo Von Olhoeffen for that one!

It's not that he can run fast. It's his ability to change direction quickly. He moves similarly to Barry Sanders....greatest of all time in my opinion.
