Things to consider: Are you going to get any kind of warranty with the car, and can you afford the insurance for it. I'm impressed that you have saved enough money to buy a car.

if you buy a car, buy an old cheap junk car. you don't want a car payment in high school, trust me...don't forget gas and insurance are expensive so you'll need a part-time job somewhere!!
i had a car in high school, and i loved it. i could go where i wanted to go, do what i wanted to do. just remember, all your non-car owning friends will CONSTANTLY be asking you for rides!

if its something over $50 put it in your savings account and wait till you graduate. I just graduated and im about to go to college. I wish i had more money -_-

if i am in your shoes, it is my nature to get anything useful that will improve my life even just for a bit if i can afford it. right now i have a car, 2 motorbikes, a pick-up truck and a speed boat. so i say grab it.
