I don't know the average, but the range is pretty wide from my experience. I had a friend when I was 9 and he was 9, he started shaving! I also knew some guys that didn't hit puberty till 15 or 16. Everyone's different.

the avg. age is about 12, but it differs greatly between every boy.
some start at the age of 10 all the way to 13 or so. don't worry about anything. your body just needs time.

You are entering puberty now. Watch your body for certain changtes like growth of underarm and pubic hair, deepening of your voice. And your penis will get a bit bigger.
