Look, all kids go through a phase where they think their parents are the worst and it usually happens in the teen years so i am guessing you are a teenager. What you have to remember is you are living under your parents roof so you must try and be respectful and live by their rules. I know it is hard because you probably don't feel like a child anymore but believe me we all felt that way at your age. So you got shouted at, ask yourself honestly, did you do anything to deserve it? My guess is you did but are just not accepting that you did anything wrong! Remember you will never get anyone who will love you as much as your mum loves you so go and apologize and tell her you love her. All the best!!

Well if you feel as though she is verbally abusing you. Move out. Yes you can im 14 and yes you can move out if you have a family member who you feel comfortable with. Ask them if you can move in with them just to get a little space. Maybe once ur mom realizes how much she misses you. She will stop and if she doesnt. Then jus visit that family member as much as possible or even move in. F.Y.I I dont live with my parents i live with my aunt and uncle. So it could work

your mom has a temper and has no right to slap you. that is child abuse. i was in your shoes growing up and it only gets worse. you need to tell a school counselor, and if social service steps in then your mom will learn to control her temper. maybe then you can all go through family counseling. please i went through it all what she is doing is wrong. no child should be hit. social service can find you foster care. please remove yourself before it gets worse. I cry for what you are going through, so please talk to someone at school and see about a foster home. your such a brave person for seeking help when many are scared.............

Well, if you are not comfortable talking with her, write her a letter and let her know what particular things hurt your feelings, and let her know that you understand she loves you, but there is an easier way to get RESPECT through your head

Does not sound abusive to me, of course, I'm sure that's not the whole story.
I'd just be quiet.

why didn't you hear what she said? was your music too loud? If so, you deserved more than being yelled at and slapped.
