I have really vivid dreams (bright colors, smell, sense of touch, emotion). Does anyone out there think dreams mean anything?

Well usually they say dreams are manifestations of your innermost thoughts, feelings etc. Sometimes they say when you dream of death or funerals it means youre moving on from something.....so yea Im sure dreams have meanings.

I think they do. I sometimes feel like we have multiple games going and so while we sleep in one we get to act out another. I always have had elaborate dreams - they remind me of movies, big productions they seem to be.
I had a dream once that I was a man and I was in a war. I was in some position of authority and I was evacuating people through a big pipe. I was holding a small child as I was ushering everyone through a junction and once the door was closed I could breath again. And that was the end of the dream.
The crazy thing about this dream was how real it was. I would swear that I was there. I was holding that child and I was literally responsible for those people's safety.
It's all very interesting - and all very plausible. To me we are here to learn a lesson that can only be learned here and now on earth - that implies there are other lessons to be learned elsewhere in time on earth (or any place at all). Maybe it's like college and we take a couple "courses" at a time and do "sleep" so that we can participate in our other realities.

There are many things that dreams could mean anywhere from how you feel about a situation to what you unconciously want in life the things you dream about dont always mean what they are about for instance the colors represent certain emotions and sometimes the events in the dream can portray how you feel inside about certain things in your life.

Personally, I've being dreaming about death for the past 2 days. But I dont think it means anything, when ever I have a bad dream, I pray and I believe that if Christ is for me, no one can hurt me.

our soul is divided to different parts..every part have its duty..
when we sleep a part of our soul leaves the body and god knows where it goes..
If you ever noticed someone when they are deeply asleep and you try to wake him/her up they don't right away because the part of the soul that left gets a sign to come back to the body then that person you trying to wake sometimes jump..so dreams are not only dreams every dream means something different for example if you dream about a murder or if you see blood or a dead body it means that your soul is suffering from an emotional situations like breaking up with someone you love...

I THINK SO, MAYBE NOT ALL DREAMS. HAVEN'T YOU EVER NOTICED THAT WHEN YOU'RE STRESSED OUT YOU MAY HAVE A DREAM ABOUT A STORM, OR SOMEONE IS CHASING YOU, OR IT MAY BE KINDA VIOLENT? LIKE RIGHT NOW MY SISTER IS PREGNANT AND I HAVE A DREAM ABOUT BABIES MORE THAN I USED TO. DREAMING IS YOUR BRAINS WAY OF CLEANING ITSELF OUT, REFILING, AND COPING WITH WHATEVER IS GOING ON IN YOUR LIFE. DREAMING IS VERY HEALTHY, IT IS NOT HEALTHY TO NOT DREAM, SOME PEOPLE JUST MAY NOT REMEMBER THEIR DREAMS BUT I'VE HEARD IF THEY DON'T DREAM AT ALL THAT THEY RUN A RISK OF BEING NOT RIGHT IN THE HEAD(I HAVE NO IDEA IF THATS TRUE THOUGH).

It is possible that your subconscious can put together bits and pieces of information that your conscious mind misses, and assemble them in the form of a dream that gives you insight to the past or future. Beyond that, who knows?

Yes, they do mean something. Mostly about your personalities, things that you desire, things that you try to avoid in reality.
It all depends on the detail of your dreams!

Sometimes it shows ur future to you.
bcoz long ago i saw one dream after the years that is being true.
its dependce upone ur 6th sense how powerfull it is.

yes, i think dreams have something to do with reality!
like maybe it is what u fantasise or what u want? maybe hat u hate! just different things, but i deffanetly think it is related to ur life out side the dream! maybe more than u think!
