Republicans always question how a war is carried out.

The question could have been asked: "Do you question the conduct of the war in Iraq?" and many Republicans would have said, "Yes." But, they aren't saying we should not be in Iraq, but the question doesn't make that distinction.
That's the prolbem with polls. Plus, as you seem intelligent enough to admit, most Democrats will NEVER answer that question with a "Yes." No matter the situation in Iraq or anywhere else.
