In this situation, the grizzly bear would most likly win. You have to keep in mind that grizzly bears are really strong animals. They can run very fast even after being hurt really bad. Grizzly bears can run a football field in 6 seconds. Also grizzly bears contain alot of weight which a tiger dosn't. So the force the the bear puts one the tiger is going to double due to the tigers weight. Even if the grizzly bear is badly injured it can keep on fighting. Which is why it's a great animal. You never want to shoot a grizzly bear because it can reach you after it been shot. Grizzly bears are amazing animals and no way a tiger can take it down.

This is a good question. A writer (scientific) in my mother tongue often came across with such questions from kids and after good research, came up with the following results.

There were other questions like why the dogs lift hinder legs, why fireflys sparkle and why human beings wave hands while walking etc.

The references were not mentioned but all the answers seem logical to me.

Grizzly Bear x Tiger
Both are strong contenders and often it ended up with no result. On one occasion the grizzly was found dead near the arena. When the pug marks of the tiger were traced, it was also found dead after about 100 meters distance.

Tiger x Lion
No records were found

Lion x Elephant
Lion respects elephant [wink]

Tiger x Elephant
Generally tiger fears elephant but on one occassion tiger was teasing an elephant. Elephant stayed calm for sometime and then lifted up the tiger and smashed against the ground

Rhino x Tiger
Rhino wins

Grizzly would win but "might" be injured in the process. Grizzly crush bones where tigers slash. The tough hide of the grizzly would blunt a lot of the damage.

The Bear would win. Bears are strong and tough. The tiger might have a chance in a big surrounding with lots of places to camoflague in. I'd love to watch them fight to see what happens. Go Bear

Even though I would be rooting for the tiger te bear would win. I saw that episode on the discovery channel a bear against the tiger and unfortunately the bear won.

the grizzly out weights the tiger by a few hundred pounds.. that might be the factor that lets the bear win the fight..

Tiger would dominate no doubt, I cant really see a bear doing too much damage on a tiger.
