If you had to be one, which one would you choose, and why?

I would be deaf then.I can learn sign language easier. than not seeing.

Deaf. I already know sign language and love deaf culture so freakin much. I would miss music so much (I am a music freak!!) and the sound of my lil cousin's voice or "I love you" from anybody but I would have the memories. But life wouldn't end so I'd just make do however i needed to and live life to the fullest.

At first I thought I would say deaf, but then I thought maybe I would rather be blind if I HAD to pick one. That way all my other senses would kick into hyperdrive and I would experience things in a whole new light (no pun intended).

Part of would pick deaf since I would like to see my family and friends. But other part of me would want to be blind then I hear my family and friends and all the noise around me.

This one is easy for me. I play the piano, and would rather be blind. I figure I'll get a good guide dog who would be my buddy, and then do the Stevie Wonder / Ray Charles thing. I'd also be very grateful for all the audio books that are out right now.

Definitely deaf; I couldn't stand not being able to see - couldn't drive, couldn't play soccer, couldn't cycle. Well, I probably could, but it would be extremely difficult and highly unrecommended. In addition, I am a visual learner; by being blind, my learning capacity would be severely diminished.

Deaf
anyone can still enjoy life with out their ears, but I couldn't get on the computer and see all these wonderful Avatars if I was blind. not to mention answer al the questions.
No serious I would miss watching my grandchildren growing up and all the beautiful flowers they give me. etc...

deaf, because then you can still see where your going and what your doing, besides brail is a hell of a lot harder to read then sighn language
