Look em as a wwe fan study this, you have seen aalot of african ameriacns in this business who are categorized as heels of such sort, king booker, shelton benjamin, and the lsit goes on, when they enter everyone boo, or jsut act silent, sure i eman some african americans remain as great faces such as The Rock but please consider as he got lighter by the minute and as the time passed by and as the skin passed by too...fans have been going up and up, also the way they "act" like people, let me tell you...John Cena, he is portrayed as an african american and fans go crazy for him, but why doesn this happen to shelton benjamin? now dont just say because is some sort of heel because we have seen great heels in this business, the only african american in the business until now that fans appreciate is Bobby Lashley
please give me your thoughts

It depends on how the wrestler is packaged and pushed to the audience.
Booker T had a very long run as a face on WWE before his turn to a heel. Shelton Benjamin also had a strong run before his turn. You can even look back and see Ahmed Johnson was a very popular wrestler before kidney problems ended his career. Ernie Ladd and Bobo Brazil were highly over with wrestling fans during their time.
Look beyond the race card and examine how they are portraying their individual character. The Rock went from cheeky babyface to vicious heel to the People's Champion over his career in the ring, and his self-presentation was key in how WWE Creative wanted to have him portrayed.
Currently, Bobby Lashley is looking very good on SmackDown, and he is getting a huge push from management.
As for the Rock, he is also part Samoan, who are usually known to be lighter in skin color.

Well, I don't really believe at all that its racism. I mean, if every white person were face and all black people heel, then thats screaming "old south". But now, its not really the case. I mean, in fact, if you think about it, making them heel is nothing but a good thing. Making somebody heel gives their character some push. It gives them time to entertain. Its easy to make somebody love you, but you have to work as a heel to reeally get under their skin. No what I mean? Now, I do think its kinda bad that there are hardly any african-american champs. I mean, some people disregard rock's african blood, as he's indian and such too. I'm talking about full blooded african american. In fact the only three I can think of is Ron Killings, Ron Simmons, Booker T. I'm sure there are others, but not many more. I don't believe its racism at all, but there is a lack in african american world champs. But I would like to see african americans get pushed more. I mean, there are some good talents like Shelton Benjamin just sitting around on mid-card level. But something tells me it isn't racism. Otherwise none of them would get any push whatsoever.

i am not about to give a long winded answer to your very shallow generalization.
Junk yard Dog, never a heel, Hall of Famer.
William Perry, wrestled once, is in the Hall of Fame.
Koko B Ware, good guy.
Other people have mentioned Ahmed Johnson, and the Rock, Lashley and Booker.
I think you are really grasping with this opinion, and there is no substance to it.
