Only by theory, and perception, well maybe, it would be difficult prove to me what the color blue looks like or what rain smells like. What is reality. Is it all manufactured from our mind, and if so where does the thought come from? Where was that thought before you thought it, was it born from the silence inbetween thoughts and if so where is that? I don't think I could prove it to a person who would not want to believe it. Like if I try to think where outer space ends or even if it does, I can't seem to comprehend something that does not end. And what about light we can be looking at a planet that has not been there for thousands of years so are we looking back in time or at the present? Yeah, I really have no idea.

Ha! I get lost in the paradox of contemplating my own existence as it is, why would I even consider trying to prove my existence to you? I'm not certain at all that you exist to prove anything to either!
This is all soooo confusing!

First, what is the nature of proof and what would you accept as proof? I would believe that you thought this through before you entered into this subject. Second, the fact that we can have a dialogue is actually proof enough, because if you are going to carry your skepticism beyond that, the point is mute. Third, the fact you even asked the question, presupposes that you believe someone out there exists, so again you question is mute. In reality, you answered your own question.

Can you prove to me that you asked your question? Have a happy day. I'm tired, so I'm pretty sure I exist. Good night.

I'm much more interested in what you can prove about your existence.

I've proved it to myself by doing this. If you accept that things which you are conscious of(by means of perception through your senses), exist, then I've proved it to you too.

such an abstract concept, existence. i can only prove that i'm capable of responding your question, but to prove my existence, that would be something!

i visited a pub this evening, ate some chips and recognized the bartender as being the mascot of madison heights, before it turned into anderson high school, which i attended, at least 3 years ago. all of which rendered by man, totally unaware.
