Depends on how quickly you need to sell. Maybe relatives or close friends may be in a position to purchase and advertising costs can be saved. Internet is another way. Also a sign in front of the house for passers-by to see and enquire. Estate agents can also be asked to assist. You also may be able to access some info on the internet. I don’t offhand have sites to go and view for more info in this regard which is applicable to projects, etc. It is important to note that legal rights registered over a property will receive preferences.

I JUST THOUGHT OF THIS. WHY DON'T YOU INVITE A COUPLE OF FRIENDS AND ASK THEM TO BRING SOMEBODY THEY KNOW WHO MIGHT BE INTERESTED IN BUYING. THEN HAVE A HOUSE PARTY AND AUCTION SOME STUFF OFF, LIKE A GARAGE SALE. BUT MAKE IT REAL FUN STUFF AND LET IT GO FOR DIRT CHEAP. ORNAMENTS OR OLD DVD'S OR CD'S FOR TEN RANDS OR LESS. PEOPLE WILL SEE THAT YOU ARE A FUN PERSON AND WOULD FEEL SAFE BUYING FROM YOU. ALSO THEY WILL BE ABLE TO SEE THE HOUSE. WHICH IS THE MOST IMPORTANT. TO LET AS MANY PEOPLE AS POSSIBLE SEE WHAT YOU ARE OFFERING.

OR OFFER SOMETHING IN RETURN FOR PROSPECTIVE BUYERS, LIKE A BOTTLE OF WINE. YOU CAN EVEN GIVE PROSPECTIVE BUYERS A MINI HOUSE. YOU CAN BUY ANY CHEAP TOY HOUSE AND PUT YOUR ADDRESS ON IT. GIVE IT TO ANYONE WHO WANTS TO SEE THE HOUSE AND THEN THEY'LL HAVE A MINI HOUSE WITH YOUR ADDRESS ON A KEY CHAIN OR ON THEIR CAR DASHBOARD, REMINDING THEM DAILY OF YOUR OFFER.

And what about fun advertising? A sign in front of the house saying: "Joost wanted this house, but I said no, because I thought YOU would be happier owning it!"

Just a thought........

I was just about to mention the Junk Mail, but Peacedotcomm has just mentioned it. The Junk Mail is not a newspaper, but it's an advertiser paper bought by people who are looking for something. So it is a reliable advertising method. A more professional way is to consult housing agencies, but they will charge you a commission fee.

Even though those are workable tools in the marketing industries, you can advertise for a free of charge in the junkmail ww.junkmail.co.za or you can print your own pamphlets and leave them in the public palaces i.e shopping mall in your area, laundry and service centre or visit where there many cars parked and stick on windscreen with wiper bladder i.e at churches or stadium in your area, make sure you collaborate with security guard as you may look suspicious running up and Down in different cars - Good luck with your sale...
