I'm 16 and black, and there are a lot of Indian girls in the next town. Thanks for your help!

I think that it's good to date people from all kinds of different races and beliefs. I certainly think that relationship would work.

You don't make it clear whether you mean South Asian Indian or Native American/First Canadian "Indian". In either case there is a long history of intermarriage, in the first case largely in East Africa and the Caribbean, and in the second case the Western United States. Ever since the famous Supreme Court case striking down miscegenation (Loving v. Virginia, 388 U.S. 1 (1967)) nobody and no government in the USA has been able to stand in the way of such marriages. The same is, indeed, true of Europe (the European Convention on Human Rights, art. 12)
and, in principle, the Internatiional Covenant on Civil and Political Rights, although numerous countries find reason to prohibit it (usually religious: under Sharia a Muslim woman may not marry a Muslim man, and a Muslim man may marry only a woman who is Muslim, Christian, Jewish or (in some cases) Zoroastrian).

The main question, then, is not the legality of such a match, but how the two families will react, and a potential friend or partner's conception of attraction and attractiveness.

I see now that you're only 16, and probably I shouldn't have gotten into all the technical legal and human-rights stuff. At 16 one isn't looking for a life partner. All the more reason to feel free to look beyond prejudice and cultural blinders. Aside from what I said about Muslims (as to which you should be careful because in some Muslim circles, as the 9/11 events should make clear to you, the penalty for blasphemy and apostasy is death, and "illicit" association could put a girl's life in danger) meeting and interacting with Hindu girls, with girls of Native American religions, with Buddhists and so on can only open up your mind and your awareness culturally. Without putting at risk your own beliefs.

Have a wonderful life!

of course it is...love will always find a way. My brother is married to a indian girl and they have 2 kids. they had 2 weddings one american and the other was a tradition indian wedding. Of course for the first few years her parents didnt agree with it and infact didnt speak to her for years. but as soon as the baby was born they came around.

Is she Indian girl from India, or she's a American Indian?

If she's from India, you may need to spend some time understand her culture first.

Of course it's possible. Whether or not it's probable depends on the specific male and specific female in question.

Of course it is possible! You have the freedom to be with whom ever you choose to love, regardless of what anyone else tells you!

Plus, that would make for some beautiful children!
