I have been in the food service industry. I served four years in a restraunt. I played the closing game. Start putting some things away early to ensure i can get out as soon as possible. But in four years i never turned away a customer. NEVER!!!! So i go to Wendy's. You know the ads say "open till midnight or later". Well I get there at 11:48 and place an order. One item was denied which i know is because they were playing the close early game. I pay for my food at 11:50 per the time on my reciept. They tell me to pull off to the side to wait for my order. The parking lot lights turn off at 11:53. My food is brought to me missing an item. I pull up to the window and wave for someone to walk over. It is 11:58 and he tells me sorry everything is put away. I will have your name put on a list to get your food tomorrow. SO........... Open till Midnight? Open till I feel like it? Open Till midnight but service stops at a quarter till.

It mean last order at midnight... and till customer had finished their food...

I think it not the restaurant (Boss) fault ... I would say it is the Waitress / Waiter faults... They are very irresponsible to chase customer away before midnight...

That is ridiculous! I work in an restaurant (granted a sit -down restaurant) and we can't take any food away until 10 PM (when we close). Usually there are customers still in the restaurant past ten anyways. Sometimes we even have to turn the grill back on after ten because someone decides to order something extra. Before ten we start packing everything up and cleaning so the only thing we have left to do if empty the salad cases, cold rail, and grill line. If everything goes as planned we get out of there by 10:15 or 10:30.

If you say you are open till midnight, you should be able to serve anything on the menu (unless otherwise stated) till midnight!

I would complain on the Wendy's website and let them know what happened to you. It probably is company policy to serve till midnight, but a manager just wanted to get out of there early.

I absolutely hate that, I live in a small town and the restaurant is like that all the time - the worst part about it, is that it is the owner that shuts down early or runs out of this or doesn't have that. Do they really want to be in business or what???

Midnite means midnite. Last customer served at midnite. You should go to the Wendy's website and complain. Give them date and time. The squeeky wheel gets the grease.
