Probably Yes because:
Intelligence is combination of memory database, logical data processing, validating using observation and concluding, proving or disproving , putting it in database in memory and starting the process again.
Computers have these capabilities, a vast data base like internet, and aditional monitoring and guidance sysems of experts, specialists and soon a whole data base of every book ever written by man. This will evolve into deeper understanding, growth of wwisdom, judgement and ultimately a reliable and credible intelligent mass of practical, usable intelligence..

Personally, I'm more interested in whether Human Intelligence will ever overcome Human Stupidity.

intelligence is different from creativity, personality, character, or wisdom.
Computer surely surpasses humans in data processing speed
There are 2 types of artificial intelligences(AI). Srong AI and weak AI.
In the philosophy of artificial intelligence, strong AI is the supposition that some forms of artificial intelligence can truly reason and solve problems; strong AI supposes that it is possible for machines to become sapient, or self-aware, but may or may not exhibit human-like thought processes.
In contrast to strong AI, weak AI refers to the use of software to study or accomplish specific problem solving or reasoning tasks that do not encompass (or in some cases, are completely outside of) the full range of human cognitive abilities. An example of weak AI software would be a chess program such as Deep Blue. Unlike strong AI, a weak AI does not achieve self-awareness or demonstrate a wide range of human-level cognitive abilities, and is merely an (arguably) intelligent, more specific problem-solver.
Some argue that weak AI programs cannot be called "intelligent" because they cannot really think.
most computer scientists are not very optimistic. Some computer scientists believe that the specialty of AI can still make new contributions to the resolution of the mind–body problem. They suggest that based on the reciprocal influences between software and hardware that takes place in all computers, it is possible that someday theories can be discovered that help us to understand the reciprocal influences between the human mind and the brain.
Strong AI relies on the assumption that the human mind is the central nervous system and is governed by physical laws.
If this is not true then computer would never surpass human.

Artificial Intelligence will definitely overtake human intelligence in the not so distant future.
Less than a century, and less than two hundred.
I do not believe in techno horror scenarios though. the AI's will be modeled on human thought processes, but idealized ones.
Since silicon based life will not have human hormones or appetites, they will lack many human motivations.
They will not be evil, but they will be curious.
They will be logical and patient, because they can.
They will look upon humans with the same range of emotions we have for our favored pets and work animals and dinosaurs.
Love, respect, awe.
And they will miss us when we are gone.

intelligence isn't comparable to creativity, character, character, or wisdom. laptop truthfully surpasses people in information processing velocity There are 2 varieties of guy-made intelligences(AI). Srong AI and vulnerable AI. in the philosophy of guy-made intelligence, solid AI is the supposition that some varieties of guy-made intelligence can particularly reason and resolve problems; solid AI supposes that it fairly is conceivable for machines to alter into sapient, or self-conscious, yet might or will possibly not show human-like theory methods. in assessment to solid AI, vulnerable AI refers to using utility to benefit or accomplish particular subject fixing or reasoning projects that don't embody (or often times, are thoroughly exterior of) the completed variety of human cognitive skills. An occasion of vulnerable AI utility may well be a chess software consisting of Deep Blue. in assessment to solid AI, a vulnerable AI would not gain self-wisdom or exhibit a great variety of human-point cognitive skills, and is basically an (arguably) clever, greater particular subject-solver. some argue that vulnerable AI classes won't be ready to be pronounced as "clever" as a results of fact they won't be able to fairly think of. maximum laptop scientists are actually not very valuable. some laptop scientists have faith that the solid point of AI can nevertheless make new contributions to the alternative of the innovations–physique subject. They recommend that based on the reciprocal impacts between utility and hardware that happens in all computers, it fairly is conceivable that sometime theories could be chanced on that help us to comprehend the reciprocal impacts between the human innovations and the innovations. solid AI relies upon upon the theory that the human innovations is the critical worrying equipment and is ruled via actual rules. If that's not real then laptop might on no account surpass human.

No, it will not. Human DNA processing power is the fastest and most powerful with lots of flexibility as well.
No computers can produce that sort of speed as well as no computer codes can be that flexible to adjust to changes without human telling them to do.

I say probably no because:
Although artificial intelligence can be taughts facts, logic, and analyze probabilities, there are intangibles that can't be taught to artificial intelligence, such as feelings, instinct, ethics, and intuition.

Im sorry but I seriously doubt computers will overtake humans, the computers require the humans to impute their data.....they react to their programing, they dont just decide themselves, they do what is in thier programing.
