It seems a very common thing, curiously enough.
When you were a child, did you ever wake up the next morning with your pajamas on backwards?
There is really no logical explanation for it, as we are talking about shirts&pants or nightgowns being shifted during the night with no recollection.
What do you think of it?

This seems to be a sleepwalking thing.
I was a BIG sleepwalker when I was young and a sleeptalker too. (Still am.)
I've met a lot of people though, who have not been sleepwalkers and this has happened to them.
I wouldn't call it a sleep DISORDER, but it is quite interesting, isn't it?

No, can't say that's ever happened to me. Sounds like sleep-walking type behavior. People do many strange things in their sleep. Some walk, some thrash about, some talk, some even have a disorder called "sleep eating" where they eat huge amounts of food while asleep and unaware of what they are doing. So... I'm sure there are some that switch their clothes around.

Sure, but I don't think there's anything more mysterious about it than a child getting confused as they are going to the bathroom or doing things like dressing and undressing in their sleep. I can vaguely even remember doing it now that you mention it but it's not a thought that stays in the mind.

Sometimes I would wake up upside down or tangled in my sheets but never were my clothes on the wrong direction. This seems to point to something very distrubing so good luck with that mess!

I've never heard of it but that is interesting. I can see the nightgown as it's one long piece of clothing but shirts and pants...that takes some talent.

Yes, it happened to me a few times when I was a kid. Also inside out, not buttoned up properly and so on. I probably got overheated, took my jammies off, then (still half asleep and in the pitch dark) put them on again without realising.

Though it has never happened to me there is a logical explanation and deb P.I and music girl already stated both reasons .

Yeah, if the pajamas are very loose they can get twisted around you as you flip around in your bed.
