And why did it not already happen in the infinite past?

There was no beginning of time and there will be no end. The universe has always been and always will be. It is man's obsession with having to have a starting point and ending point in everything that makes us think about these falsities.

Of course the universe had a begining... You can never stop asking the question "but what happend the day before"

The only way you could explain the universe as haveing no ending or begining, is if it began to overwrite itself like a computer. (The future becomes the past and vice-versa...tomarrow is yesterday) But even then there was still a starting point. (Yesterday wasn't tomarrow when yesterday was, it was the day before!)
Therefore, time has a begining, just as the universe must have a center (no not earth we are far from the center) and the universe is expanding and expanding at the speed of light everyday in theiory, just as the future is expanding into infinity.
As little since as all my gibberish is makeing, it still makes more since then "there isn't a begining or an end" That's just a cop-out for people who don't want to believe that christianity is wrong. LOL

Recent research (WMAP and COBE space probes) strongly indicate that eventually the universe will be totally without any mass or thermal energy of any kind. In this state the spacetime of the universe will continue to expand indefinitely.

as we know that universe came to exitance due to the explosion in a very compact point from that time it is spreading and so no.

at certain time attraction will start and the whole universe will again become a point.

It repeats itself and that happened already many times.
Of course this is nothing but theory. We live too short to prove it experimentally.
