I found it only to realize what I had when it was too late. He was the most perfect man. He was kind, funny, intelligent, adventurous, honest, giving, helpful & sexy as hell. He loved me like I never thought possible. I was 16 when we met-young, stubborn & scared of love. He died from cancer two weeks before my high school graduation party. I still celebrate his birthday & our anniversary. I still mourn his death. I'm 24 now & I know to be happy again I cannot put him on a pedestale compared to other men I date. However, no one will ever replace him in my heart. Better to have loved & lost than to never have loved at all!

Yes, I have. It took a long time, but it was worth it. When I finally met him, I knew that every previous experience in my life had happened only to lead me to that moment.
