it seems like a trend to hate them they do have some good songs on their the young and the hopeless cd.... many people never even really listened to their music and they hate them...

People hate them because hating popular bands is cool. If Good Charlotte didn't have music videos or hit singles, people would like them. This generation is so full of posers and hypocrates it's disgusting. And I'm one of them.

I Don't hate them, they're albums are good especially the Chronicles of Life and Death. It seems that after Joel Madden started dating Hilary Duff people began seeing him as a poser or abuser.

Their music is formulaic and repetitive. They have no musical qualities in their songs. It is just whiny complaints to the same musical background on every track. If they were to break out of the rut, they might actually do something new and good.

Because they're posers ... it's that simple. They go on and on about "Lifestyles of the rich and famous" and all that sh**, but they do exactly the same things that they criticize!!
How hypocritical is that?
Besides, their lead singer is clearly an a****** or just desperate - I mean, what so-called rocker in his right mind would go out with HILARY DUFF??

They are exactly what they preached they wouldn't be. On top of that, since when does the lead singer of a globally reknown band need to date a 17 year old in Hilary Duff? And we get it, you're sad and depressed from having millions of dollars.......It got really old really quick.

I seen good charlotte in concert (and no i didnt pay for it) i reckon they should of paid me for going. I reckon if i threw a cat into a violin it would of sounded better. I think they are a bunch of posers doing it for money but.... i think good on them, id be a sellout too if i could get enough money. Good on em!!

i dont hate them. i like some of their stuff and do listen to them ocasionally. but i think there is better music out there...

they are dumbsh*ts and dnt know what good music is
thats why and if they do they are too afraid to admit it because it is no longer 'cool' to be our own person
