yes we should express that, and we should do it. there's always a cause, there will always be people who don't like the president...but this is the country we live in...fight for it.

I dont see what the president has to do with anything.
I would fight to defend America from a direct threat. I would not however fight for corporate interests or for some other country whos population cant be bothered to fight for themselves.
I dont think democracy and capitalism are for every culture. Many of my countrymen do not have the insight and knowledge to realize this and they buy into the McDemocracy that is being sold by our current administration.
Iraq seems to be doing a fine job putting up a fight against against the old US of A... a military power that made Saddam's Army (of mostly unwilling participants) look like a boyscout troop. There is no reason they could not of risen up and deposed Saddam. I mean surely they dont hate us more than they did Saddam right?
I would fight to defend America... I would only fight FOR America if its cause was just...and that hasn't been the case since WW2.

I don't think anyone in the world questions the Loyalty and willingness of Americans to protect the American Constitutional form of Government including the Bill or Rights except those who are too young to know much about American History.
I do hear conservatives questioning liberals patriotism out of ignorance.
This stupid nonproductive discussion about patriotism is nothing more than a guilty conscious for getting us into the wrong war at the wrong time in the wrong place, again.
In fact, I marched against this war before it started along with a couple hundred thousand other liberals who tried to talk some sense into the conservatives but no, the conservatives just had to attack Iraq.
Now suddenly as the situation in Iraq gets really out of control, George Bush starts tending the roses in the rose garden and hoping this next two years will go by quickly.
Will guess what Republicans, you are not going to dodge this bullet. You have been sitting on your ***'s in the Congress and giving cover to Bush, Cheney, Rumsfelt and Condi while they took there Junior peep rally on the road to some glorious victory they had in their minds.
Congratulations conservatives, you explain about all the mistakes Bush made and defend yourselves to the folks who sent you to Congress, but you are not fooling anyone. You jumped on the war wagon when you thought it was a winner, and know like a pack of rats you are running for cracks for cover.

George Bush is the only one fighting this war. The liberal news media is rooting for the terrorists and the Democrats are openly aiding and abetting the enemy. Think John Murtha. You should just shut your piehole and be glad GWB is fighting for your right to be stupid.

Liking the boss or not is secondary
What matters the most is our lover for freedom and defending our county, our interests, our people and our pride.
I think we should be proud and fight to defend her, especially nowadays with all the terrorism throughout the world.
