A cold beer is the best thing for summer, but maybe it may turn out to be the worst thing.

Of course beer is fattning if you drink regularly. Regular beer has about 100-150 calories, light or ultra beers have under 100hrs.

Female's daily total caloric intake is 1600cal. and Male about 1800-2000. You do the math.

Most beer contains no fat. However, it has calories. Unless you're seriously cuttin' some rug, you're probably not going to burn those off in a night. If you go out and have 8 or 9 beers, that's an extra 1600 calories. Do that every Saturday for 5 months and don't change any other activities, and that's 32,000 extra calories. Considering that 3500 calories adds up to about one pound, you've put on 10 lbs. Right to your gut.

But **** it, I'm headin' out right now.

I don't know that beer has fat in it, but it will make you huge if you drink a lot of it because it is loaded with calories. Even many "light" beers have more than 100 calories per serving (as compared to Diet Coke, which I believe has 1 calorie).

Beer often contains many calories. It is not good for you. It is worse than drinking a regular coke in the way of calories. It is pretty fattening.

Drinking beer is like eating a few slices of bread. A 6 pack, like eating a whole loaf!

Yes it is, but if you must drink beer, then try light, it's not exactly a "diet" drink, but it will make you "less fat" since the amount of calories is less. Also try low carb beers if you're into cutting carbs (It works for me)

A few cold ones now and then are ok,but if you're a steady drinker you'll end up with a "beer gut".So,yes it is fattening.
