Why would we want to rely on a bunch of kids without real world experience? I mean most college kids have no clue about holding down a job or raising a family. Way too many of them have not even learned how to earn their own way without having to go running to their mommies and daddies for help.

College teaches you what to think. Life teaches you that you need to think and how.

Did all the politics in college teach you to write like that ? I'd be happy if there was still a little education going on in more high schools and colleges, and a lot less indoctrination into anti-American beliefs. We studied actual politics when I went to high school, instead of all the one sided crap that gets shoveled in too many places these days. And most of my contemporaries are quite literate, as well. And I'm not talking some conservative-only high school, either. We had social studies that included all major world religions, and one of my english teachers liked to conduct the classroom 'in the round'....
It would be nice to achieve that kind of balance again !

Isn't that how it is now? How many high school students do you know that could even explain the three branches of government and how they work, let alone the intricacies of politics?

I think people need to learn history and political science before they start voting. seems the only people that know anything about American history is the imigrants that have to pass the Citizenship test. and people over 35...
