My showers are really quick and everyone else I know takes really long ones so I am curious to know what the normal length of time is for someone to be in the shower.

Looking at these answers, only one person takes a shower as short as mine...I'm clean and out in less than 5 minutes...What's wrong with me. I see no reason to stay in there...I've tried. Even if I have to shave my legs and stuff, I'm less than 10 minutes.

By the way, I don't wash my hair while in the shower so is that part of the reason why my showers are shorter?

I shower for about 10 minutes. Maybe 12.

I stay in the shower at least 15-20 minutes. 'Cause I gotta use my regular Dial soap, then the "smell-good" body wash, then I shave when I have to, wash my face and I'm finished. I don't think there's a specific time to be in the shower. Make sure your vitals are scrubbed and the rest of the time is spent pampering yourself---enjoying the solitude---it's the only place a single mom can get a break!

Well my length of my showers depend on if I'm feeling lazy or not but usually it's between 25-45 minutes. The shortest shower I've ever taken was 10 minutes. The length of your shower doesn't really determine how clean you are just as long as you are scrubbing ALL over. So you're not weird.

I usually stay in for about 20 or 30 minutes, just because it's relaxing and awakening. If I really have to shower quick, I can do all the essentials in about 10 minutes.

...usually around 20 minutes depending on if I have to shave my legs. That takes a while so then it's probably closer to 30 mins. How can anyone get in the shower, wash your hair, rinse it, condition your hair, rinse that, wash your face, wash your body and shave in under 15 minutes? It doesn't seem possible if you are doing anything other than just rinsing off.

I think the average shower for most people is usually 15-20 minutes. Mine tend to last between a half hour and an hour.

I would definitely say that not washing your hair saves valuable time in the shower. I always wash my hair when I'm in the shower, and I'm usually in there 15-20 minutes. (perhaps longer if I really feel like it)

its really crazy. i look at the clock outside of the bathroom and when i leave it. i'm always in there for almost exactly 30 minutes. but in the shower i've never checked. i guess its just like 19-25 minutes. and then i spend the rest of the time brushing my hair and getting dressed and that kind of stuff
