All these rumors about trading A-Rod are nothing but filler on a slow day at ESPN. Alex can turn around his slump any day and return to his old, super-star self. As long as he feels he still has a chance to help the Yankees this season, I don't think he'll even be thinking about waiving that no-trade clause.

HOWEVER, if the incessant booing at the stadium doesn't stop bearing down on him, I believe he'll ask to be traded during the offseason and he'll win the MVP with some other team who's fanbase will treat him with the respect that he deserves.

I also heard this, one of the announcers, which one, I don't recall, is one of those "ohmigog, A-Rod had a bad month, send him to KC!" people, was discussing this as what he thought would be a good possibility, not as something the Yankees are actually entertaining. Think about this; Matsui, Sheffield & Cano are on the DL. Melky is actually producing. Why the hell would they make a trade like this?

Although he is having a bad offensive month, and his defense isn't all it could be, A-Rod still has some of the best numbers lifetime of any active players. You people have no patience, we're still winning, let the guy get his groove back, and back off him.

A-Rod is going nowhere. Why would the Yankees trade the greatest player ever. Remember, this is July. Not October. Nobody can predict the future. When the Yankees lost to the Red Sox in the ALCS, he batted over .300. He had one bad series as a Yankee....last year's ALDS. He is going to shatter a lot of records, and he will win a World Series while he is at it. Watch.

Is this their first road trip or something? lol Never heard that before... the ball in angels stadium doesn't carry either (and to think next year's HR is held there lol) i don't hear anyone else associating the loss with the measurements of the ballpark. Yeah AT&T park is big.. so? There are pitchers' ball parks and there are hitters' ball parks. A win is a win a loss is a loss.. there's no point in bringing up Citizen's bank park when the game wasn't even held there. BQ: Hmm probably Juan Rivera haha Bengie used to get some heat when he was an angel for being slow other than that we loved him here.

I seriously doubt if A-Rod would OK a trade to the Phillies. The team is just lousy from top to bottom. I'd rather see the team get sold.

I've heard about a Cardinals-Phillies trade. I'm not sure who the Cardinals are trading, but I believe they are wanting Abreu.

Wow, really? That would be interesting. Sounds unreasonable, but who knows?! I doubt that the Yankees would give up A-Rod.
