But there are people out there who know only what they do..nothing else...they may be intellegent in what they do...but that is all they do all day long. People who read a lot know a little about most. Who is more wiser?

experience is the best teacher, so I would say the one reading the book may know a lot, but the one who does it everyday knows every possible variable, so he may be the wiser of the 2, in that area anyway...

Depends on what you need from them. If you need an expert's opinion on a particular subject, or sometimes answers you can't get thru theoretical research - it is best to look for those with years experience, they excel thru trials and errors which prepare them for the best/worst scenarios.

For everything else, the know-a-lot-about-everything-from-books will be a good choice.

So, both can be useful, use them wisely..... heh heh
