Depends on what you are measuring...but probably Montana. I think Bradshaw had a better team around him than Montana did most of the time. Elway was great, and had a frickin CANNON for an arm, but he wasn't as wily as Montana. Marino had longevity, and that is about it. He is one of the greats, but not the greatest. Favre probably isn't even top 20. Good, amazing and memorable, but not in the conversation.

Bradshaw/Elway (best all round quarterbacks of the group)
Dan Marino (best arm, great leader)
Montana (Perfect for the west coast system)
Favre ( Strong arm, fast feet, bad decisions throwing the ball)

I can't stand Elway or the Broncos. But, Elway was the best to play the game. If in his early years if the Broncos hadn't ran the ball so much he would've had better numbers than Marino. He could throw and led the offense at least as good as the rest, mount a comeback drive on par with Farve (which is alto better than the rest), and he could run when he had to better than the rest combined.

Im gonna have to go with 3 time MVP and 1 time SuperBowl Champ Brett Favre. In his prime that man was unstoppable. He threw passes where no other QB would throw them... And there were always positive results. Marino could have the records. But Brett is right behind him with a ring.

Marino. Marino, if put on the Packers teams Favre was on, would be still winning superbowls to this day.

I'm a Mississippi woman, but I'm not picking Favre. His is great but I must go with Marino. He never won a super bowl, but he was one the best ever.
