the above egg story reminded me of a time when my younger sister and I decided to do our own egg hunt. She hid all my eggs in the lounge room somewhere and I quickly ran in and found them all. It came to my turn to hide hers. I did so with great success. She was unable to find one egg. I assisted with the warmer, warmer game. She still had no idea where it was on the couch and cracking it picked up a pillow and whacked me in the head with it much to my dismay as the rock solid egg was in the pillow cover and gave me a great egg on my forehead... :-)

It a longer story but --- I put out plastic eggs with candy, peanuts, etc. inside each egg for an Easter Egg Hunt. Before the children started the hunt, the squirrels in my yard began taking the plastic eggs, tucking them under their chins, and running away with them. Ten years later we are still finding plastic eggs in gardens and stone walls. You had to see it actually happen but everytime i remember it, I still laugh.
