No. It will help people communicate without fear and any inhibitions. You can make friends from all parts of the globe via chat or sites such as yahoo personals. You can share your interests with other people such as gardening or cooking using blogs. Internet has helped people come much closer.

If anything, one can only hope, it will increase understanding through direct access to other cultures and thus decrease 'hate'.
