There is no set ammount of time, it depends on the people. It should be long enough that you know plenty about each other and have discussed important factors in your life and determined that your wants, desires, and dreams fit into eachothers lives. My husbands wife got married after 4 months, and has been married a couple years now and has a baby. My husband and I waited 2 years. We had a lot of life lessons to learn and things to discover about ourselves and eachother. Sometimes you can know a person forever, like a good friend of mine. Knew his wife since high school. Now they are getting divorced after 12 years and 3 kids because shes "just not in love". The most important thing to remember is not to put your partner up on a pedestal, they will only fall. Remember they are just as imperfect as you, and that true love means forgiving even when you dont want to. Loving someone doesnt make you immune to hurting eachother, so go into marriage with eyes wide open, but also dont set yourself up for failure by thinking it may not work. Find the happy medium in everything and it will work out for the best.

My husband proposed to me after 3 months of dating. We got married after being together for 10 months. We have been married for 2 1/2 years. We have a great marriage and I am pregnant with our second child. I think that its a personal decision on when to propose. I guess when you feel that you are ready for the commitment which it seems like you are. Good luck!

I'm not sure.
My fiancee has proposed to me. Yet, not officially. We're in love as well, and we can't be without each other.
9 months is quite little time, wait a bit longer.
I've been with my fiancee for a year and a half.

We on no account fairly did. We have been at some point courting, the subsequent we've been at the same time for 12yrs. we don't sense "offering" is something we detect mandatory as a results of fact it particularly is in elementary terms a formality that finally ends up in a cerimony that we would desire to spend 1000's of dollars on different individuals to bathe us with crap we've already got. additionally as a results of fact it is not a legally binding element...it is not mandatory in our lives.

No such thing as a right time frame...if you're mature enough to handle it and have no other responsibilities that would make that life more difficult (parents, kids, school), it's entirely up to you!
Good luck...
