Some people say that it is Clinton's fault that 9/11 happened because he didn't catch OBL (neither has Bush, but whatever...) If the big bad terrorists attacked America again under Bush's watch, would you blame Bush for not stopping it?

The Republicans would naturally blame Clinton or Ted Kennedy or JFK or something instead of actually taking responsility or better yet admitting to failure. Afterwards they would probably say Fidel Castro was supplying Al- Queada with cigars and we'd end up being at war with Cuba for the next five years when our real enemies gathered strength and prepared for another attack. Ya gotta love Republicanism folks, I know our enemies do.

9/11 was no one's fault except the terrorists who perpetrated it.
If someone robs me, is it the fault of the cop handing out a ticket two blocks away? Of course not.
As if ANYONE could have seen that coming!
The silver lining to that black cloud is that it will never happen again. If someone tries to take over a plane now, every flight becomes flight 77, the plane that fought back.
The other small blessing is that America now has had its collective eyes opened to what certain parts of the world think of it.
And America can now democratically choose what its course will be. And democratically live with what the majority have decreed...for a few more years at least.

Sure, its our presidents responsibility to make sure that our intelligence is good and that we can assess and take care of any threats. But sometimes the president is misinformed because of maby a field agent gathered the wrong intel. Not all the blame is to be placed on him because of the mistakes of another individual.
