Do you have any idea how much this cost? how long it takes and if they really work?

My daughter's orthodontist said the cost would be approximately double to cost of traditional braces. That would mean invisalign braces would be about $4000-5000. If you have dental insurance, they pay the same amount whether you get regular braces or invisalign, so your out-of-pocket is going to be a lot higher with invisalign.

They take longer to straighten the teeth than regular braces do. I can't really give you a definite time line for how long you would need to be in braces since it depends upon your teeth,

They really work, but is it worth it to be in braces longer at twice the cost? The benefit would be that you could go without braces for a while if you have a special occasion. It's also easier to keep your teeth well brushed and flossed since you wouldn't have to work around wires and brackets.

Invisalign works quite well on mild to moderate cases. However, if you have a sever case you will most likely need regular braces. Cost depends on length of treatment and what area of the country you live in. An average price would be around $1200.

I currently have invisilign braces and I am very happy I chose these instead of metal. My braces cost $4,000 and will take a total of about 10 months to straighten my teeth. It took less then three months to straighten my bottom teeth. Of course the price and length of time varies on the each person's case. Go to a regular dentist who is skilled in Invisilign. The consultation is free and they will do molds and send them off to Invisilign. You can then see a 3-D computer generated pictures of how your teeth change from day one to the finished product. It's awesome to be able to see what your teeth will look like before actually getting braces. I would recommend them to anyone!

They aren't worth it. It's not like it's that hard to get used to braces anyway.

They're kinda expensive. You have to go to a dentist to have them fitted. I hear they work great. But the money adds up quick.
