It seems that the only thing that anyone can be sure of is that this thing is tense and has the potential to create something much worse. How much worse seems to be the question. Some seem to think that it is just another flare-up in the ongoing violence between the Israelis and Palestinians, while some think that this may legitmately be leading to a grand war in the powderkeg that is the Middle East. Some even take it so far as to say that this could be the very beginings of or has the capability of starting a WWIII. What do you think?

Walden,

Sadly, badly
it will end up sadly and badly,
whatever the outcome is.

Israel has played the wrong cards,
at the wrong time, and they will never
give up, nor will, this time around, Israel's
opposers. Israel's gone too far, and
it would take a miracle for them to
acknowledge wrong doing and back-up,
which is too late to do anyway.

How very sad this situation is.

I wish I had an answer,
but I do not.

Stay well!

What we've interior the middle East is a approach of self perpetuating violence. And except major ameliorations are made there'll be no end. Israel needs to stop stealing land. Israel needs to settle for that forcing the Palestinians out of their houses and into refugee camps changed into incorrect. Israel needs to thoroughly open Gaza to all help. The Arabs favor to settle for that Israel is there to stay (although interior the pre 1967 borders). Peace lies interior the direction of mutual popularity.

I don't know
but it will end with Hezbollah being more strong and popular than ever cuz Israeli onslaught will convince more Lebanese that Israel does intend to kill them.and they will join hezbollah to make sure it doesn't happen....Israel created Hezbollah in the first place by invading Lebanon in the 80s and Hezbollah rose to resit...good job israel you create terror wherever you go!

I dont think that this will turn into a war at global scale.
But will have a large human toll...death, destruction...ruining of so many lives...
Will also create equal no. of new terrorists...waiting to avenge.
And the cycle of violence will continue.

israel will fist f*ck hezbollah but in the process will get jumped by the other surrounding middle eastern companies.

the escalation may result in atomic warfare... the US will jump in. then the soviets. then the chinese.

everyone will bomb everyone and in the process, US will errantly throw a bomb in germany.

my friend says we're like
the dinosaurs
only we are
doing ourselves in...
much faster than, they ever did...

we'll make great pets.

Israel is fighting for its existence. It has had enough of its muslim neighbors attacks and is ready to fight them all. Remember, Israel has nukes, so the Islamo fascists better be ready to meet Allah up close and personal. It only takes one nuke to scare them all shitless.
