because your just not ready to accept the consequences of your actions. once it is done it cant be taken back so just kinda think about that for a while please.

what kinds of things if its sex u may be self conscience about your body (which u shouldn't be because everyone is beautiful) or its because you're a virgin and you are afraid he will hurt you physically or emotionally or you think it might not be good for you or for him. But don't sweat it if he's understanding then just explain your situation and hopefully he'll understand and try to help u with your problem.

Simple! He is your 'BOYFRIEND' not 'HUSBAND'! If things so awfully wrong, will he take responsiblity for it. Ask yourself if both of you are ready for a life-time committment. If not, that's why you are afraid to do things with your boyfriend. Good Luck.

because you aren't into him that much and thus the thought of having a kid with him scares you to death.
I had girlfriend once that I was totally into for a while and then . . . it got to a point I knew the relationship was going nowhere and I didn't want to be with her. The sex went down the toilet from that instant on.

Because you know in your heart your not ready... And you know what, it's okay to not be ready! I know this sounds cheesy, but coming from someone who moved forward while knowing I wasn't ready, you'll regret doing anything your not 100% sure you are ready to do. Boys come and go, but real men stick around even if they aren't getting any.
