I don't know, it's not my battle, I'm not going to sit here and ponder it. What happens happens and there's no use guessing about it.

Iran will be free when the people of Iran themselves will stop being so selfish and stand up to the Mullahs. When the people of Iran will realize that they are better off staying in their own country and standing up to the cruel regimes that rule Iran, rather than trying to run away to the "good life" of the west. Iran after all is still a democracy. So why cant the people of Iran do something about changing the government. Instead they whine and expect sympathy from the outside. And oh yes, American green cards!

I think Iran will change over time. The younger generations aren't all that interested in the revolution. The Persian culture still survives under the Islamic onslaught and will come back to the fore someday.

Iranians have been trying hard for their freedom. Knowing that our bigger enemies are colonial imperialists. If freedom means : gay marriage, and things like that, you'd better forget it.
But on the other hand, freedom of expression in Iran is more than those despot regimes backed by US>right now.
