Who's life has been screwed up bec of the foster care system gone bad?

Years ago, my friend and her sister were molested by two different families while in foster care. Eventually their adult sister was able to gain custody of them. I haven't trusted the system since and unfortunately my nephew's daughter is now in foster care waiting to be placed with her grandmother, who must undergo a thorough investigation first. Seems like they have their priorities screwed up.

I was looking for my niece, it took 11 months to find her, her mother, my twin went back to cocaine after 8 years of sobriety, the Ministry would not even enter my name into the computer as looking for her, said it was against her rights. I have her now, not without a fight, and she has endured four foster homes. She gourges food still, a habit from foster care, afraid of when would her next meal be? Makes me really angry that she was ever there.
