Since there is no way for you to truly know who I am and truly understand where I'm coming from. You only know what I choose to share, is that enough to get an understanding about me?

sure, people are often irrational and tend to fear what they don't understand but online we all are as anonymous as we want to be and few people share more than they need to or want to. why is it that you assume we don't understand you if everyone here is like you. we might never truly know who you are and truly understand where you're coming from but we know the part of you that you wish to share and get an understanding of that part of you. with that in mind, one may choose to fear you from what one knows but as all we know is that you are just another person out there, we dont feel fear.

Both sides use fear as a tactic. I will not get into specifics from either side, just suffice it to say that it is true. It is also true that fear works as a tactic. Ask your self how many voters are not voting for the candidate, but rather against the opposition. This is fear in action. I would enjoy politics which dealt strictly with the critical acceptance or rejection of issues and platforms, but this is just not the society we live for the most part.

You? I don't know you, and I don't seemed to be spurred on with a "give-a-damn" to know you. But I can see a possibility that I might find a want to get to know you, more out of your appearance as a curio, or due to sympathy for your "thinking" than out of some fear. Ummmm. No. What is there to fear? You only know about me what I choose to share..........so as I see it we are on equal ground! And Im one of those evil pagan liberals! Do you fear me??? LOL And no....to your question of "is that enough to get an understanding about me?" But you in turn.........won't be understanding me either. I could also completely lie about who I am and the things I choose to share..........therefore leading you to come to incorrect conclusions about who I am. Namaste!

I think you are oversimplifying. I don't understand you but you also don't pose a threat in my mind. I don't fear you and you really know that.

i understand that you are a person using the internet, so i do not fear you knowing that 99.99999(etc)% of people who end up on yahoo answers are average people
