I got two...within two weeks of each other!
I love Stihl chainsaws. I bought one on eBay that needed fixin up. It was worth well over $1000, and I bought it for a song! The problem...the guy kept my money, and never sent the saw! Grrr. Filed a complaint/claim, and ended up recouping half of what he took.
What the hello, I figure try again..bought another Stihl chainsaw which was advertised as "runs"....well, that was such BS, as it arrived with muck in the gas tank, a broken idel screw, crqacked gas line, screwed up bar, missing parts... Again, I filed a complaint/claim, and the guy responded that a lil blurb in his ad "as is" is covering his grose misrepresentation... this claim is still pending.
I still love ebay, though, and have delt in this marketplace for over 8 years now. It still rocks in my opinion, even with these bad experiences!

I actually don't. Closest is when I won an item online for 15 bucks and the guy said it was an error and supposed to be 85 bucks but forgot to put the minimum in. I told him thats his tought luck and send me the item or Ebay will ban you . I got the item for the price.
Worst buying online though when when I ordered a somewhat rare DVD of animated short. The company charged me and didn't send it with two weeks. It said availible 3 days after I ordered it but when i contacted them they said it was unavilible. I said Id contact the Better Business Bureau because they charged me and didn't have it. They responded they didn't want to deal with someone who was threatening me and refunded the cash.

I've had only good experiences in the 4 years I've been on Ebay. The only bad experience I had was that I won and paid for a t-shirt and never got it. I love Ebay!!
