I have combination skin, and I personaly like clinique superbalanced make-up. It covers pretty well, if you want something really thick, you should try merle norman, they have some pretty thick foundations that cover well. I have never found any kind of foundation that I did not need to use concealer with. Prescriptives is also a very good brand, they have a powder, and liquid called magic, and it is an amazing product, you should try it.

I've tried some of the better products and some of the less expensive. Your skin type is the biggest determination about how foundation looks on your face. Oily dry, combo, clear soft skin problem skin. Personally i really like how light and smooth foundation from the Body Shop looked on me. It's super light, good coverage, mid range price. Alot of mineral based foundations are on the market right now, they are worth trying instead of liquid.

When I used to use liquid foundation, I used MAC's Studio Fix. It has buildable medium coverage. It's pricier than a drugstore brand but not outrages like maybe Shisheido or Lancome. Hope this helps

I really like Nars. I go to sephora and they helped me out. They have balanced and oil free kind too. So you can choose whats best for your skin. It covers well and its not cakey looking it kinda soaks into your skin.

really it all depends on your skin type.. see i have acne prone skin and you don't want some thing that is going to make you break out...
if you are going to use liquid use very little.. and use loose powder with a brush.....
