The perfect getaway is right by my wife's side. I would tell her how much I love her. Nothing can beat the three words, "I love you". Many times people try to quantify our love for others by saying "I love you till death" or "I love you, in sickness and in health..." The three words, "I love you", may be simple but there are no quantifiers at the end, which already implies that I love you unconditionally. And that's what I will say to my wife at the perfect getaway spot, just simply three words, "I love you"

I would be on a Hawaiian island alone where I could hear the wind rocking the palm trees ever so slightly, where my favorite music was playing, where I could simply relax and be calm. The crystal blue water around the island would all belong to me and I'd take a long swim. Then, I'd just make myself a meal from the cafe on the island which would be deserted and have a good time - no struggles of our modern lives, no deadlines, no hard choices, just a serene setting would be a perfect getaway!

Anywhere my wife and I can get some time away from the kids is a perfect getaway. But, if were to pick a destination it would be to stay at the bed & breakfast called Cricket on the Hearth my wife and I stayed at in Coure' de 'laine, ID on our honeymoon. Then some time at Silverwood Theme Park in the same town. It would be romantic to revisit and actually redo that part of our honeymoon. We were so stressed after the wedding that we didn't fully enjoy ourselves and I know it could have been better. We have talked about it before.
