Well, Rome is the capital. Not fair for the other major cities in Italy, but their plane landed there, and they were received by the President and the Prime Minister. Just like the French team, who flew to Paris after the final and were received by their President.

All the fans were waiting for them in Rome (capital city of Italy)where the president and the prime minister were also waiting to congratulate them..I'm sure they had a huge party of their own afterwards.I read in the papers that the day after the players all went home to their families to start their vacation, that's expected since they were away from them for a month.
