Well old friend, the average republican citizen is not bound by what we call "logic". This can be due to low IQ, birth defects, little education(much like a medieval serf) or too much consumption of mercury or lead. Republicans are like...children, mentally handicapped children(only not as intelligent). But we must not hate them, they are just simple being trying to make sense of a world that they could not possibly understand, due to, as i have said, their retardation.

How do you think 9/11 would have been stopped? A bunch of agents catching the terrorists in the act? Or by wiretapping, which is what President Bush is trying to do now, but likely will never happen?
Clinton had his chance to stop 9/11, and yes it was his fault. The first attempt at blowing up the WTC was in February 1993. Bin Laden was also allowed to escape in August 1998. Needless to say that was a mistake. Yet President Bush takes the blame for something that Clinton didn't do; allow Bin Laden to live and to forge ahead with a plan to kill nearly 3000 Americans.

Conservatives don't praise Clinton, but they were corrupt enough to let him get away with certain things during his administration.
Just like certain democrats occasionally work with the republicans.
Call it enlightened self interest, greed or idealism.
Both sides are more alike than dissimilar. Big oil still donates to democrats, just like the tobacco lobby pays off both sides.
9/11 could serve as a turning point in the maturation of American culture.

you need to wake up and know what is going on around you!
bin laden is a CIA asset, Al Qaeda is created by the CIA, AL Qaeda members were trained by americans some of them were even trained on american soil.
Mohammad Atta the alleged hijacker received $100,000 from the Pakistani prime minister who visited washington a week before 9/11 and met with many of this adminstration officials.
In 1997 they formed an organization called the Project for the New American Century (PNAC). They have sought the establishment of a much stronger U.S. presence throughout the Mideast and Iraq's Saddam Hussein has been their number one target for regime change. Members of this group drafted and successfully passed through Congress the Iraqi Liberation Act, giving legal sanctions for an invasion of the country, and funneled millions of taxpayer dollars to Hussein opposition groups called the Iraqi National Congress and The Committee for the Liberation of Iraq.

It was the nutcase conservatives fault. Bush's dad and Reagan gave money, weapons and training to Bin Laden and his boys.
George W. Bush didn't even read the presidential daily brief just days before the attack which said "Bin Laden Determined To Strike U.S.
The C.I.A kept telling Bush Bin Laden was going to strike soon.
The conservatives armed Bin Laden, trained his boys, and gave him money. (when they weren't giving arms, weapons, and money to Saddam)Then ignored the warning signs and ignored C.I.A Intelligence.
Nice try neo-cons but the old "blame Clinton because the Bush's are morons" routine doesn't work anymore. You idiots arm this guy, train him, and pay him, then ignore him and you think people are gonna buy the "it's really Clinton's fault".
It's over this election, America has had it.

how do you praise someone for something not happening?
I don't blame clinton anymore than Bush. I blame the terrorists, but when the libs start playing the blame game, it is easy to point out clinton let Osama go.

911 was the fault of TERRORISTS. Got it? Sure, It's easy to do the " We should have" AFTER the fact. But to say that Bush or Clinton could have prevented this, and chose not to, is RIDICULOUS!!! TO SAY THE LEAST!

i imagine the significant ingredient that ought to have helped ward off one of those disaster may were to easily have the cockpits of airplanes separated from the significant cabin section and sealed off, so as that terrorists ought to under no circumstances take administration of a airplane and actual fly it into some thing.
