Raising a baby at any age is hard. I had trouble at age 38 with my newborn son. I can only imagine how it must be to be 16 and trying to raise a baby. Very difficult. You might consider adoption, there are soooo many wonderful loving couples out there waiting to adopt a baby. I am not sure if you have had your baby or not yet, but it is something to consider. Your baby would have a loving home with 2 parents who would take very good care of it. There are open adoptions now, where you could meet and even choose the adoptive couple you want for your baby. Plus, you are able to stay in contact with them and depending on the openness of your adoption, maybe have visits. Talk to a counselor at an adoption agency or pregnancy center and they will work with you to see what is the best option for you and your baby. If you plan to keep your baby, you will need lots of help from family and friends to raise your baby. You can do it, but it would be very hard. It takes a lot of love, time and patience and your life will never be the same as any Mother would say. I must tell you that my husband and I adopted our son 6 years ago and he has been the best blessing in our life. We have an open adoption and I write and e-mail his birthparents regularly. We exchange pictures, presents and are working our way up to eventually have some visits. I don't know your situation, but I hope that things do work out for you and your baby. I will be praying for you.

Ask for help from your parents, older sibling, church, etc. Then you stay in school and be the best studenet you can be. Give the baby a mama that is prepared to raise and support her and give her the love and attention she deserves. It is hard but you can do it. When you feel tired and down, get stronger. A mom has to dig deep to be able to do all the things necessary for her kids. Be the best mom you can be. Some schools have a daycare and training classes for students so ck it out. The baby stays there while you are in school and you get to be with her during part of the day and you learn so much about the care and feeding and about medical needs, etc. It is a good program. Best of luck and I pray that you won't make this mistake again. Wait for marriage and only date men after grad. that are your equal and who will love your baby as their own.

Raising a baby for anyone at any age is difficult. The best thing to do is show the baby all the attention you can give him and love him.

What are you doing having a baby at your young age. You need to give this baby up for adoption. Teens have no right to keep their babies. Enjoy life! Be a kid. Give that baby up to a couple that would give it everthing it wants and needs. There are a lot of people my age ( 33) that would love to have a child but can't. Give your baby the gift of love. Give it up for adoption.

.....You do what you can as a good person...better yet a good mother...to be truthful...you have to forget that you are 16 years old...and grow up and be responsible and take care of your child...ask questions...don't be afraid to ask for help...do whatever you can to make sure that child has a good life..........GIVING IT UP TO ADOPTION JUST BECAUSE YOU GOT TIRED OF IT AND BAILING OUT IS NOT A GOOD IDEA..it will only leave you with guilt...but if there is no shape or form that you can't take care of it....then under some circumstances...you should give it to adoption and hope for the best...AND NOT GET PREGNANT UNTIL YOU ARE STABLE AND READY FOR A CHILD...
